View of Santa Barbara looking due east from the top of the Clock Building (1875-1925) at the southeast corner of State and Carrillo streets. In the foreground is the Lobero Theater at the northwest corner of Anacapa and Canon Perdido streets. Just above the left edge of the roof is El Cuartel (1782) at 123 E. Canon Perdido St. Above El Cuartel is the Rochin Adobe (1856) at 820 Santa Barbara St., with the outhouse showing at the rear of the property along with a building used as a stable and hostler's residence. To the right of the Rochin Adobe is the Arrellanes Adobe (1795-1925). |
