Has there been any greater change in young women's fashions than the 25-year period after 1900. This dress harkens back to what came before, by accentuating a narrow waist, while at the same time breaking out with gold lame and a floral stripe belt. Women were breaking from the confines of the late 19th century and this costume is a representation of that movement. |
