Description |
Charles Storke arrived in Santa Barbara in 1872 to take up his new position as a schoolteacher and later went on to careers as a lawyer, land developer, mayor, state legislator and newspaperman. Storke became one of the City's most influential citizens. His son, Thomas, would follow in his footsteps and carve his own influential career in Santa Barbara history. |
